What is SameDayDrone?
SameDayDrone is a marketplace that connects clients and businesses with FAA Part 107 verified drone pilots. We're launching first in San Diego with a focus on same-day, emergency, and scheduled jobs.
Are pilots actually verified?
Yes. Every pilot on the platform has been reviewed by our team. We check their FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate and proof of insurance before approving them to accept jobs.
What does same-day dispatch mean?
Same-day dispatch is a priority routing commitment for pre-registered businesses in active service zones. It is subject to pilot availability, weather, FAA and airspace restrictions, and safe operating conditions. We don't promise unconditional availability.
Why pre-register if I don’t need a pilot right now?
Pre-registration is free and lets us save your business info, locations, access notes, and dispatch preferences ahead of time. When an urgent need shows up — storm damage, a leak, an insurance claim — we can move faster because the paperwork is already done. Pre-register free.
How does payment work?
When you book a job, the cost is held until you approve the final delivery in the project workspace. You can request revisions before approving. Once you approve, the booking closes and the pilot is paid.
What if I’m not happy with the delivery?
Request a revision from the project workspace and tell your pilot what needs to change. If you and the pilot can't resolve it, reach out through our contact page and we'll help work it out.
I’m a pilot. How do I apply?
Head to become a pilot and submit your Part 107 certificate and proof of insurance. We review every application by hand. Once approved, you'll get an email with next steps.
Where do you operate?
San Diego County to start. We'll expand once we have enough verified pilots to deliver on the same-day promise in a new region.
Is the site finished?
It's a public preview. The core flows — pre-registration, booking, pilot application, project workspace — are real. Some marketing pages and integrations are still being built.
