1. What SameDayDrone is
SameDayDrone is a two-sided marketplace that connects clients and businesses in San Diego with FAA Part 107 licensed drone pilots. We help you find a verified pilot, book a job, exchange files, and approve the final delivery. We are not the pilot. Pilots are independent operators responsible for their own equipment, insurance, and compliance with applicable law.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Pilots must hold a current FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate and carry the insurance required by the jobs they accept. You agree to give accurate information at signup and to keep your account credentials private.
3. Same-day dispatch — what it means
Same-day dispatch is a priority routing commitment for pre-registered businesses in active service zones. It is subject to pilot availability, weather, FAA and airspace restrictions, and safe operating conditions. We do not promise unconditional availability and we do not guarantee service in every situation.
4. Bookings, payments, and deliverables
When you book a job, funds are held until you approve the final delivery. You can request revisions inside the project workspace before approving. Once you approve, the booking is closed and the pilot is paid. Disputes go through SameDayDrone support.
5. Content you upload
You keep ownership of files you upload (reference photos, job briefs, deliverables). By uploading, you grant SameDayDrone a limited license to store, transmit, and display that content as needed to operate the platform. Do not upload anything you do not have the right to share.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use SameDayDrone for jobs that violate FAA rules, local law, privacy law, or any third party's rights. Do not abuse other users, attempt to bypass platform fees, or circumvent security controls. We may suspend accounts that do.
7. Disclaimers
The platform is provided "as is" during public preview. We are working hard to ship reliable software, but features may change, data may be reset before launch, and we may take the service offline for maintenance.
8. Changes to these terms
We will update these terms before launch and post the revised version at this URL. If you keep using SameDayDrone after a change, you accept the updated terms.
